Day 3 Snow, curry and watercolours

The weather was a little clearer for Wednesday although the wind was biting so the hill walkers stayed in the valley.  Again, everyone had slept well having devoured platefuls of sausage casserole and Eton mess the night before.  Snow had fallen overnight on the hill tops which brought much excitement.

Back at the farmhouse in the evening and filling in the days events into our diaries.

Max mopping up the spillages.
Tonight's menu was chicken curry and fruit salad with many children having seconds and thirds of each.  A quieter evening was planned as everyone was beginning to feel tired, so items were collected from the hillside and around the farmhouse for observational drawing and watercolours.

Observational drawing and painting tonight.
